Lord I offer my Life to You…

All that I am, all that I have
I lay them down before you, oh Lord
All my regrets, all my acclaims
The joy and the pain, I'm making them yours
(Chorus)
Lord, I offer my life to you
Everything I've been through
Use it for your glory
Lord I offer my days to you
Lifting my praise to you
As a pleasing sacrifice
Lord I offer you my life
(Verse 2)
Things in the past, things yet unseen
Wishes and dreams that are yet to come true
All of my heart, all of my praise
My heart and my hands are lifted to you
(Bridge)
What can we give
That you have not given?
And what do we have
That is not already yours?
All we possess
Are these lives we're living
That's what we give to you, Lord
(Chorus)

In His time

In His time, In His time
He makes all things beautiful
In His time
Lord please show me everyday,
As You're teaching me Your way,
That You do just what You say,
In Your time.

In Your time, In Your time,
You make all things beautiful,
In Your time
Lord my life to You I bring,
May each song I have to sing,
Be to You a lovely thing,
In Your time.

Welcome the New Year!!!

(Psalm 51:10-12, 15-17)

A year has ended and another year has come. I'm sure that if not all, most of us have expectations for the year 2009.

Others have resolutions on being a better person and trying to change bad habits or attitudes. Some are desiring to serve God and be part of ministries...

How wonderful it is to listen to these resolutions and promises for the new year but the question is... Can we do them on our own strength and effort? Can we really change our hearts and be better persons? NO...only God can.

Let us therefore pray like David did and ask God to create a clean heart and to renew a right spirit in us...one that is steadfast and not wavering.

Let us ask for the Holy Spirit to remain in our hearts and to grant a willing spirit that we may be sustained. Because if our hearts are not clean and we desire to serve the Lord, we desire to join God's ministries, our efforts and service won't mean anything to God. But Psalm 51:17 says that if we come to God with a broken spirit and a contrite heart, He will not despise us.

When God cleans and purifies our hearts, only then can our offer of service in the ministry be acceptable to Him.

To God be the glroy!
