Pray For One Another

“... pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” - James 5:16

“Two is better than one”

Lifting one another,

Helping one another,

Encouraging one another,

Praying for one another,

Don’t come solely, but it needs someone to accompany you.

People in this world tend to isolate themselves from others to be tagged as one of those ‘independent people’ but the bible verse for today wants us to pray for one another with the same:

Goal.

Vision.

Practice.

God.

Assuredly, it is way more powerful than usual because it is written in Matthew 18:19, “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.”

God wants us to be one in Him.

He loves to see His children unite.

Most of the answered prayers are done not just by one who prayed alone to God but it is done through prayer warriors. Battles are everywhere either personally or spiritually. It needs more than one person to claim that victory. Help is of the essence. And with God, there’s unity, success, breakthroughs, and healings.

God encourages us to pray together and for each other.

Return To God…

Have you heard the story of Job in the Bible?

Job suffered hardships and difficulties such as crisis, illnesses, and even death of his children…

We sometimes experience similar situation.  We go through hardship leading to a miserable life. We can feel pain, struggles and miseries because we are human.  God wants us to realize that the only solution is to return to Him wholeheartedly. He has everything that we need.

God is saying, “My plan is to not only heal and restore you, but to use you to draw the nations to Me…”

He allows us to suffer because He has a plan for us, we may not understand and know what it is but He wants us to trust Him and believe in Him because He is the “Great I am”.

Exodus 23:25 encourages us to start to, “Worship the Lord your God, and His blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.” This is to exclusively serve God alone. Through that, we will be restored from everything that was lost and will surely win the battles in life the same with Job.

God knows what you’ve been through and He is there waiting for you to realize that He blesses someone who is in love with Him and prays to Him.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, offer your life again to God and He will shower you with blessings.

“Nothing is impossible with God.” - Luke 1:37, A reminder that you must ponder if you return to God, this is an assurance that God is able and your only hope is Him alone.

The Lord bless you…

Keep Running!

“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 3:14

Assuming that you are an athlete, you are bound to compete with someone else, a running competition that only few people know about. As you are in the competition proper, your enemy tries to hinder you from reaching that goal - to win. He wants you to stop and turn around so that he will win. The choice is yours whether to continue or not.

But listen because the Lord whispers,

“My child, you’ve come too far to stop now… You are so close: be focused, aim that goal, win that battle, you are so close to your success and breakthrough. I made that competition to attest how strong you are, so don’t run aimlessly, but straight towards a finish line to win a prize. You can do that.”

The Bible verse for today encourages us to never stop, the process may be hard but sooner or later, it will prevail. Embracing difficulties is also allowing oneself to learn and grow. If the enemy discourages you to pursue and you think that you can’t reach that goal, dream or even win that battle, then this is the time to be motivated because ‘You are so close…’

God is saying to you today:

Keep going!

Blessings are coming!

Victory is coming!

Cloudy moments will become clearer soon and the view is beautiful.

Believe and trust in Him.

There’s a prize in every hard work and perseverance.

Be Still…

“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” - Psalm 46:10

Have you ever asked yourself about this verse?

Why is it necessary to stay still amidst the happenings?

One reason could be because He is your safe refuge as it is written in Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Your adversities in life are your struggles and battles to win day by day for you to survive and God is always there.

Another reason, keeping calm is allowing yourself to think of more good solutions - God is your only solution, if you Return To God.

Philippians 4:6-7 states that, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” An encouragement that if you stay still and offer your battles in life to God, He will never drag you down but He’s willing enough to help you.

You don’t have to be stressed over things that are out of your control. Remember that people are people, conflicts are conflicts, trials are trials but one thing is for sure, God is God and He will forever be God.

Offer everything to God including your heart, mind and soul.

Let Him handle it but pray consistently as it is noted in 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

God bless you…

All Glory Belongs To God Alone

“Not to us, Lord, no to us but to Your Name be the glory, because of Your love and faithfulness.” - Psalm 115:1

In the moments of success, achievements and accomplishments, it feels so good to be praised and acknowledged by someone for what we do. And as human as we are we tend to accept each praise and the glory given by the people, a sad reality though because God gives us the strength to win that battle but we never give Him the attribution that He deserves.

God is A. B. L. E

Allowing us to win.

Becoming stronger and tougher each day.

Letting us enjoy the free life.

Exiting us from the battle fields with confidence (through His grace and mercy).

All along, He is with us. He never leaves us and yet here we are claiming all the praises and glory all by ourselves. It’s too selfish, right?

God must be acknowledged and praised, too.

He definitely deserves the glory alone.

To do that, let’s give back the praise, honor, thanks and glory because He is the one and only God. Let us never forget that we are just stewards of whatever God has given and entrusted to us. Without Him, we are nothing…

Be reminded that everything belongs to God.

Be Good At All Times!

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” - Galatians 6:9

Honestly speaking, I heard a lot of people saying, “to be kind is frustrating…” You have to adjust for them, understand them, and compromise in the situation. In the long run, it will not help everyone grow because they are considered as weak, for not fighting against them. But the Bible verse for today, reminds everyone to keep going and doing good to others because time after time, you are planting something in them.

Exodus 14:14 states that, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” It only encourages us to remain calm and let God do the rest. But human as we are, we can’t deny the fact that we are only practicing to being kind to some and not to many/all because we tend to think and act unfairly, “I’ll treat anyone the same he/she treats me” which is wrong because as a child of God, to be kind in any forms and circumstances, certainly creates an opportunity to someone that they can be kind, too towards others. This is also a way to let God’s light shine to them, we are following a Christ-like life as well.

Behind closed doors, still kindness matters! Sharing is caring and Sharing is loving, which God teaches us day by day.

Do not let your anger and pride take over that goodness in you.

Do not let Satan live your life and use you.

Do not stop showing your kindness to everyone because this is one of God’s rules, to love one another.

Do not give up!
Imagine someone who is in deep pain, then you talk to him harshly, it might cause him to end his life because no one treats him well and with love and care, so, let your actions, and words be an inspiration, encouragement, and comfort to those people who are struggling in silence. Treating them with kindness and goodness will uplift them. Aside from receiving blessings from God, we are then a blessing to others too.

God Overcomes The World!

“For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.” - 1 John 5:4

A praise and worship leader of a Christian church asked questions to the congregation, “Are we all victorious in this world?”, “Do you believe that you are victorious each day because of Jesus Christ?”

In those tough moments of your life where adversities really hit you badly, do you complain to God, and doubt His plans for you?” “

What was your reaction to those challenges? Do you ask God for help?”

Children of God actually asked Him for help, strength and guidance. You only have to align yourself to God’s plan for you.  Do not redirect it because God puts you in that situation for He knows that you can win that battle through Him. God has overcome the world and has defeated Satan, the enemy.

God has conquered all your troubles in the past, present, and the future.  He already planned everything, so you are assured that you will win!

The verse for today reminds you that no matter what circumstance you face in this world, you can strongly and firmly S.T.A.N.D with it:

S urrender all your worries to God.

T otally be equipped by His armors.

A ble to fight through His strength.

N o one can defeat you because you have Him.

D istractions from the enemy will eventually be no more!

If God has overcome the world, then you can, too because you are His child. He keeps and secures you from any harm of this world. God is able and can conquer everything for His children.

Rejoice for you are victorious by God’s grace.

God’s Love: Beyond Measure

"I will rejoice and be glad in Your steadfast love, because You have seen my affliction; You have known the distress of my soul." - Psalm 31:7

Oh God,

My Lord,

You have been so good to me,

You set me free,

I don’t know why,

But, I won’t lie,

Your love is real,

Which every day I feel,

Not anything in this world is above,

But only your unconditional love,

That I always ask,

Which I do pray and fast,

Roads of uncertainties,

Big stones of adversities,

Sudden catastrophes,

That cause wearies,

Yet, You are watching me,

Guiding me,

Reminding me,

That You truly love me,

Today,

Tomorrow,

Forevermore,

I will embrace that love,

A love that transcends everything,

A love that is always there,

A love that is real - only Your love,

An unfathomable love from You alone.

God Had To Break You

As you live in this world, there are trials, challenges and obstacles that you have to win and surpass, but there are also times that you may stumble which causes you to fall down. There are times when you feel as though you are crushed to pieces. It is painful.  It is exhausting.

Sometimes God allows these things to happen because He had to break you…

For you to learn.

For you to fight.

For you to grow.

For you to become stronger.

For you to stop relying on yourself.

For you to depend more on Him.

When the breaking happens, you might not notice that God takes away some of the broken pieces that were not part of His will for you. Then He starts to build you up and make you whole again.  Moment by moment, He is able to protect you from rushing to a situation that may cause you pain, weariness and unhappiness.

When you feel like you are crushed and broken, seek God and allow Him to break you into smaller pieces from every failure and shortcomings you have done because He is trying to build a new self for you because For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.” - Romans 8:13-14.

In Him alone, blessings are coming!

Learn To Wait

“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” - Psalm 27:14

Indeed, life requires a lot of waiting. Everyone is in the season of waiting.

No one is exempted! It’s just one of those unenjoyable life truths, to wait for:

-        Financial Breakthrough.

-        Miracle/Healing.

-        Child/Children (to those married couples who are not yet been blessed with).

-        God-given spouse.

-        Prayers to be answered.

-        Promotion and Success.

-        Fulfillment of one’s dream.

Those are only a few things which people are longing to have. But in the Bible, there are also characters who waited for the Lord’s perfect timing.

-        David definitely waited 15 years to be a king.

-        Rebekah also waited 20 years to give birth to Jacob and Esau.

-        While Moses waited 40 years to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.

-        Then, Sarah waited 25 years longer for her appointed child, Isaac.

Take heart and always wait for the Lord because you are not alone in your waiting season.

In Psalm 33:20, it says, “We wait in hope for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.” So if you are praying for something to happen in your life for so long that you feel like giving up, just stop and pray again to God.

Truly, none of us know His timing or why it seems to take so much longer than we’d like it to happen.  It is not according to our plans anymore. But, be reminded also that the truth is, He is faithful. Waiting may be extremely difficult sometimes and has a painful process, but God’s plans will prevail and He will surely fulfill His promises. Oftentimes, we are so quick in deciding and figuring things out but trusting Him will help us pursue, persevere and wait a little bit longer knowing that in God, hope is real. He is a prayer answering God!

One day, you’ll see why God made you wait…

God is our Victory!

For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” - Deuteronomy 20:4

In Psalm 108:1-5, we will find that David prayed and asked God for help against his enemies. There were circumstances that David can no longer hold his strength, so he humbled himself and bowed down before God to pray.  David was the king.  He was expected to be strong and courageous for his people. However, David refused to trust himself, instead he consulted God and asked for a solution to his problems. He did not approach any of his advisor or anybody to resolve the problem. He trusted God above all.

The story of David depicts more about being dependent on God in any circumstances man faces. Despite the problems and struggles, he put God first. And if any of us nowadays is in trouble, before seeking for answers or solutions, seek God first and He’ll surely help you.

L.A.S.T is a reminder:

Let’s not allow yourself to be blinded by hardships in life.

Acknowledge God’s presence instead.

Submit yourself to Him and be humble at all times.

Thank Him for what He has done.

For;

You are heard by Him.

You are answered.

You are born to conquer everything through God's grace.

Take note that God is bigger, stronger, and powerful.

Predicaments are not always in your life, God is.

Only God is in control of everything, thus, cast all your worries to Him.

Victory is coming!

God Keeps His Word

I will not violate my covenant or alter what my lips have uttered.” - Psalm 89:34

What God has spoken He will fulfill.

He is undoubtedly faithful.

It’s one of His characteristics - God’s nature.

If you happen to read all the scriptures in the book of Psalms, then you can testify how God declares His promises towards David. He then fulfilled it and will always fulfill it. In Him, there’s life, an eternal life and no one can thwart His promises to us.

If you are unsecured, seek His safe refuge.

If you commit sins ask for forgiveness from God and He is faithful and just to forgive you from all of your sins.

If there are times that you are unfaithful to Him, do know that God is faithful to you today, tomorrow and forevermore.

His words are blessings too.

A delay in your life is God’s protection to you. If there are prayers of yours that are not yet answered by God, sometimes He never fulfills it because it might lead you to dreary moments. But, take note that He has a plan for you, plans to prosper and not to harm you.

God keeps His word and one of those promises is God loves you at all times even if there are certain times of your life that you never acknowledge and want God anymore to be part of your life. He never leaves you nor forsakes you because He is the God of the gods, and the Lord of the lords.

If you’re looking for a sign and comfort by someone, then this is the time for you to read the Bible, God is speaking to you through His scriptures and verses.

Be thankful to Him as He will bless you in your entire life.

Trusting God in the Difficult Times

Fear you not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.”

 - Isaiah 41:10

As you live in this world, there are tough times which cause your faith to be shaken. There are also bad times and hurtful moments that seem to hinder you from moving forward.  You ask God about it: “Why are my prayers not answered?”, “If You are my God who is at my back, why am I made to suffer these things?”, “Why did you allow them, Lord?”, “Why me? I’m not a bad child.”, “What have I done to deserve this?”.

You complain and start to blame God for allowing difficult circumstances to happen to your life. Truly, you are hurt and in grief afterwards. Clouds of questions are popping in and out of your mind as to why God allowed things to happen as they do.

Everything is according to His plans, whether good or bad. If God is putting you in a situation wherein you badly need help, just pray and believe that He will help you get through it rather than making it harder by complaining.

Your heart matters! So, never doubt.

As a believer of Christ, don’t you know that tough moments are sometimes tools for testing how deep and strong your faith is. He allows everything to happen because He has a purpose and a plan.  He loves to bless you and never to curse you nor make you suffer in any case.

You are God’s child and you have to trust Him, obey His commands, be submissive and continue praising and worshipping Him.

Time will come that God will reveal His reasons why He allowed certain things to happen in your life.  Your strong faith in God can move mountains of problems! So make tough times an opportunity to learn, grow and draw closer to Him.

Remember that if you were not in those situations, the struggles and the story would have been different. He did it for a purpose and that is to share your story to somebody else out there.

Give thanks in good times and pray when things don’t go well.

God Is Our Hope

Are you now in the deep sigh of a pained heart?

When you’re feeling like you are being mocked by someone and you don’t know what to do.

When you feel like you’ve had enough.

Psalm chapter 123, says, look to the Lord and cast yourself upon Him. In times of sorrow, hold the hands of the Lord and never go away from Him. Everything is well, it is managed by God. Focus on Him even more.

There are reasons why we should trust God:

-       God is able. He owns everything in this world. He is the King, thus, He is powerful.

-       God is our safe refuge. He secures all things in this world including His people and His plans. It is written and done with a purpose.

-       He is merciful. He offers His hands to anyone who needs help for He knows the right path to walk.

-       God sees everything. He knows your sufferings and He cares about you. He also knows your capabilities and limits.

-       He is a Savior whom everyone should know.

If God is what you need then He is your hope in your downfall moments, hopeless situations and difficult times. You just have to pray and ask for guidance and mercy. Pour out your heart to God.

He is always faithful in listening to your prayers and He will carry you in His loving arms.

Turn to God at all times. Hope is found in Him.

God’s Ways and Plans are Higher than Ours

“ As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” - Isaiah 55:9 The Ps...
