Ready To Rise

“You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to You.”

Psalm 86:5

Am I ready?

I asked myself as I look back at my plate full of regrets from past mistakes and I sighed…

My sin was bad,

But Your grace,

Your love,

Your mercy is great Lord.

A sinner like me could not help,

But to acknowledge You,

Your presence,

Your holiness, Oh Lord.

Thank you,

I do thank you for all of my life you’ve been there for me.

I guess, I’m ready,

Yes, no more second thoughts,

And two cents...

I was born ready,

To rise and give honor and glory to the one and only King of this world,

To You alone, Jesus.

Amen...

Let Your Will Be Done

“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”

 - Luke 22:42

An open message which everyone should put into consideration and offer one’s life to the Lord.  Give your cup to Him wholeheartedly.

The cup of emotions.

The cup of uncertainties.

The cup of fears.

The cup of plans.

The cup of dreams.

The cup of unwillingness.

The cup full of ungodly character that you want to be delivered from your life.

Surrender your cup to the Lord.  It is no longer yours, but the Lord’s. So, you don’t need to be afraid of facing tomorrow. It doesn’t matter what tomorrow brings because you have God. He is prepared to take you somewhere because His will is way better than yours.  You’ll just have to align yourself in the path where God wants to lead you.

Be blessed as you take the journey with God beside you. He has plans for your life. Plans to prosper you, to give you hope and a future.

The Lord bless you.

HANGTUD MAY KINABUHI by: Victory Band

Nahimugso ko ning kalibutan

uban sa dako nga katuyoan

inig sud-ong ko sa kalangitan

mga bulan ug kabitoonan

Imong gipahimutang

Mga pag-antos ning kinabuhi

Imong gipas-an alang kanako

sa kahugawan Imong gihinloan

kinabuhi ko karon nahugasan

sa hamili mong dugo

Refrain

Walay sama kanimo ka gamhanan

walay arang makatupong sa gugma mo

takus ug angayang pasidunggan ka

Chorus

Hangtud may kinabuhi

hangtud may kusog

hangtud may gininhawa

sa ngabil ko himayaon ka

hangtud nia ka sa kasingkasing ko

bayawon ka ug alagaran ko…

(Ginoo.)

God Is With Us!

“Surely, I am with you always to the very end of the age.”

- Matthew 28:20

People come and go.

They’ll make you feel important today, tomorrow, but not always.

Remember they are humans, too. They have emotions, various emotions particularly.

Therefore, they act dynamically.

But, with God, He is always there for you forevermore.

He is constant.

He is present with us.

He knows you wherever you are.

You just have to look closely and draw closer to God instead.

Today.

Tomorrow.

Forever.

By then, you're living your life full of goodness and contentment because you only need God’s presence.

Do know that God will help you as you live in this existing world.

So, come with Him as you journey into greatness.

He will be with you!

God bless.

Should I love my enemies?

Wait!
What?
But why?
They are the ones who mock me, who curse me, and above all they are the people who are against my existence.
Should I love them instead? And not hate them?
These were the words that kept flashing in my mind when I accidentally happened to read this phrase, “Love Your Enemies”.  It certainly sounds easy and perhaps the best way to do, but it is against my will. To love the people I hate?!

Not an easy thing to consider, but a friend of mine told me that kindness and forgiveness can change everything.

I asked him, “why should I take it seriously?”
He answered with a smile on his face and said, “Because Jesus told us to…”
As it is clearly written in Matthew 5:44, “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” he added.
Really? you told me to love them and now to pray for them as well? That’s too hard, I said.
No, because you are God’s child. He wants you to be different because kindness and compassion affect other people heartily, he calmly answered.
I sighed and our conversation ended.

With his words, I came to the conclusion that it makes sense. I should obey God’s rule in Matthew 22:39, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” They are my neighbors too. I should love them, the way I love God and I love myself with pure intentions.

Oh, Lord God, thank you for giving me a friend whom I can surely lean on when troubles and difficulties come. He is an instrument from You for he will not let his friend like me suffer from grudges. He is a good example to me, and extends to the rest of mankind. He is practicing a Christ-like life.  And with that I am so grateful to You, Lord.
In Jesus name, Amen.

Be blessed and love your enemies whole heartedly.

Blessings are coming!

“Out of His fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.”

- John 1:16

You read it right, while every person in this world is experiencing downfall moments and even breakdowns due to the circumstances around him or her, God has planted something for each one.

As a result;

He will amaze you.

He will secure you.

He will prioritize you.

He will shower His blessings on you.

As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6, “...He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

An assurance indeed that every person should hope for.

Despite everything, God is willing and will always accept you as His child.

Pray not for perfection, but pray to be like-Christ as He is forgiving, and He is a great provider.

Have you heard these words, “Let the poor say I am rich?” it only entails prosperity by God’s grace.

If the blessing is for you, then it is yours, only yours. No human can thwart it!

Now claim it as you persevere in trusting and following God.

Again, claim it, and be a blessing to others, too.

The Lord bless you.

There’s No One Like You

“I will praise you every day; yes, I will praise you forever.” - Psalm 145:2

Oh, Lord, you found me,

When no one tried to,

Oh, Lord, you comforted me,

When everybody else was busy.

Now is the time to worship You,

Now is the time to exalt You,

No words can express how thankful I am,

No money can buy how valuable I am.

You raise me up,

When I am feeling down,

You are my refuge,

When I am feeling unsafe.

This is the day,

This is the time,

I will adore You.

I will worship You now and forevermore.

You are worthy of my praise and thanksgiving today, tomorrow and forever.

Watch Your Mouth

“Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.” - Psalm 141:3

Is it okay for a child of God to speak bad words?

The answer is ‘NO’.

Remember that you are made in God’s own image and likeness, hence you should bless others instead and not curse them. However, people nowadays are too vulgar that even their own family is naturally cursed by themselves first-hand.

As a child of God, you are chosen by Him, you are made for a purpose.

You are then encouraged to speak gracefully, as what Colossians 4:6 says, “Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.”

Always think and allow the Spirit of God to tell you what is the best expression and what is fit to tell.  Allow the Holy Spirit to speak within your heart for it is written in Matthew 12:34, “...For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”

Thus, be careful and stop others who easily speak unappealing words especially those words that hurt, insult, and discourage other people.

Lift up others by encouraging them with your words for it matters. It can (HIM);

Heal.

Inspire.

Motivate.

Then you will be near Him (God).

God bless.

You Are Uniquely Made By God

“I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” - Psalm 139:14

How happy are you to know that you belong to God?

How blessed are you to be created by Him?

How eager are you to praise Him as your Father?

You don’t need to compare yourself to others anymore;

Intelligence.

Physical Appearance.

Dispositions in life.

Popularity.

Standards.

Skills and Talents.

Genesis 1:27 says, “So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.”

Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Both Bible verses mentioned tell you that you are His masterpiece and not one of His plans can be thwarted.  Everything has been laid down, even before you were formed in your mother’s womb.

You may have shortcomings and failures while you are in this world but don’t let those bring you down.  You are enough, appreciated, and loved.

Just don’t compare yourself with other people. God loves you for who you are.  You are uniquely made by the Hands of the Creator Himself. You are beautiful and precious in God’s eyes.

The Promise of Help

“I have learned to be satisfied with the things I have and with everything that happens.”

- Philippians 4:11

You always poured out your blessings to us, oh God.

A grace upon grace.

You fulfill your promise as you declare in 2 Corinthians 12:9,

“My grace is sufficient for you…”

You are so good, oh Lord.

Now is the time for me to worship You.

Now is the time for me to praise You.

Now is the time for me to thank You.

Now is the time for me to glorify You.

Now is the time for me to adore You.

Because of my need, You give grace.

Today, I bow down on my knees, Oh Lord,

not to ask for anything from you,

but to exalt Your Name on high.

I thank you for teaching me how to be contented and not to complain.

A joy from within comes from You alone.

The promise remains, I claimed.

I will rely on You today, tomorrow, and forevermore.

This I pray in Jesus Name, Amen.

Past is Past

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.” - Isaiah 43:18

It is time to look forward.

You were hurt in the past.

You faced challenges back then.

You had been in trouble years ago.

You are still keeping a grudge against someone. You are holding on to ‘[disappointments of past failures. It’s like a stagnant water from the drainage. No progress at all. You never allow yourself to go with the flow where God leads you to move.

Your past might cause you to experience sorrows, breakdowns, and anxieties, yet, there’s always a good side of it.

Be reminded from our verse for today not to dwell on the past instead go and move on because blessings are coming.

Forgive and forget. These two might help you to be happy once again for you cannot change what has already happened but you can control your present and future circumstances basing on your response from the past.

Reflect on the learnings and experiences.

Acknowledge the opportunities.

Inspire someone.

Strive for your dreams even more.

Empty your heart from any excess baggage.

You have to RAISE yourself from the past and fight for the present as you conquer the hardships of every day so you can achieve your dreams and be who you want to be in the future.

You can pass the past!

 God bless.

Do Not Be Afraid

“For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” - Isaiah 41:13

Have you been so observant these days? Did you hear what is going on in the world? Are you threatened by what tomorrow leads you to?

Calamities, disasters, pandemic, and pains are somewhat like your shadow. It always follows you wherever you are. As you live in this world, there is no peace. You will hear, witness, or even experience earthquakes, fires, landslides, mass-killings, and other terrible attacks. Just recently, there is  a war between Afghanistan and the Taliban.

With everything that is going on around us, you reflect and you come to a conclusion that there is no peace at all, instead there is chaos, there is destruction, oftentimes due to self-motives and bad intentions.

You are afraid.

You are unsure.

You are terrified.

You don’t have any control.

You lose hope.

You feel unsafe.

Be encouraged. The Bible verse for today teaches you to look into the bright side and comforts you that the Lord has already planned your life.  The Lord is ever willing to help you. Sometimes the process is painful and hard, but never forget that when God is silent, He is doing something amazing for you. If you ask for peace in your mind and heart, believe in Him and He will help you.

The Lord is always on time. Don’t worry because everything is under His control.

When you are afraid;

Get a Bible and go to Psalm 56:3-4, for it says, “When I am afraid, I put my trust in You. In God, whose word I praise - In God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”

Feel His presence and you will be safe along your journey.

Also, pray for Afghanistan.

Let peace rule in this world!

Turning The Impossible to Possible

“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” - Philippians 4:13

I failed.
I can’t do it.
I am worried.
I have doubts.
It is so hard.

These are some of the words in your mind that may hinder you from pursuing your goals.

You are now scared of trying again. You are afraid of failing again. You are now discouraged from achieving your dreams. You are on the verge of quitting.

Hey, stop! Never quit. Never get tired of trying. I am here to tell you that there is a God..a God who is much bigger than your mountains of worries and uncertainties.

Jeremiah 32:17 says, “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.”

So, do not worry about your future because He will guide you along the way.

Change your "I can’t" into "I can."

Be positive as you conquer your dreams day by day.

The Lord does not assure you that the journey is going to be smooth, but He will keep you and help you achieve your dreams so long as you continue striving and believing that you will succeed.

Allow God to walk with you as you pursue your goals again in life. And He will always remind you, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” - Luke 18:27

Also, believe in yourself that you can do it by God’s grace.

Victory is coming! Claim it. God bless.

Pray For Peace

“...The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” - James 5:16

Bombing.

Wars.

Killings.

Chaos caused by pandemic.

Warfare.

Nowadays, you can picture out, see, hear and witness disheartening events happening around you. They may cause someone trauma, anxiety, depression or even possessing the idea that ‘the world is ending' or 'everything is coming to an end.'

Even so, the Bible verse for today continues to encourage you that despite the happenings in this world. You can still continue calling on the Lord and believing in His mighty ways against these catastrophic circumstances.

Who would have thought that Prayer works effectively, it assures victory.

Neglect the negative thoughts in your mind.

Remember the essence of prayer until something happens.

It will give you comfort. An undescribable comfort from the Lord.

You are saved from the troubles.

You are cared for.

You have God, your safe refuge.

2 John 1:3, “Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love.”

This, too, shall pass.

A gentle reminder from 2 Corinthians 13:11, it says, “Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.”

"You. Follow Me!"

“It is the Lord your God you must follow, and Him you must revere. Keep His commands and obey Him; serve Him and hold fast to Him.” - Deuteronomy 13:4

The world offers a lot of roads to take, yet no one knows what is at the stopping point of each road. You choose and decide to take a path with no hint as to what is there ahead of you.

Are you confident enough to finish firm and strong?  Are you walking on the right road?

If not, take this Bible verse for today for you not to be misled. Call on the Name of the Lord.

He is the God who is life-guiding.

Colossians 2:6 says, “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him.”

If you read this unintentionally. It is not by accident, but it is God’s will, for;

You are chosen.

You are called.

You are God’s child.

“To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.” - 1 Peter 2:21

From now on, answer and follow Him because, “He is the way, the truth, and the life,...” - John 14:6

Allow God to handle your life. Be obedient to His laws and you will live life not just to the fullest, but also a life of holiness.

"Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him." Psalm 128:1

The Lord bless you.

Pray Until Something Happens (PUSH)

“Pray without ceasing.” - 1 Thes. 5:17

Is patience a virtue? Is God teaching us to wait in His time?  Yes, He is.  So, we are encouraged not to stop praying. To be patient, to wait and to trust on His timeline.

Imagine yourself praying for someone who is bedridden. You ask God everyday for healing and miracles.

You seek His presence.

You cry.

You shout.

You scream.

You want quick answers.

Yet you hear nothing, not a single sign, nor a minute voice.

Neither a word from Him through the Bible.

Years passed, you did the same thing. Then you ask God, why? But, He remains silent.

The Bible verse for today is a reminder to never get tired of praying.

Examine your heart. Humble yourself towards God. Never stop believing.
Sometimes a delay is God’s protection from things only He knows.

God knows when, and at what point will He answer you.

God’s will be done, for it is written in 1 John 5:14, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”

Time will come that you will utter these words, ‘My prayers have been answered!’ You are heard! Our God is a prayer answering God. God’s time and will are way better than yours.

Keep P-U-S-H-ing, keep Praying Until Something Happens. The Lord bless you.

How To Be Saved

“I tell you the truth, whoever hears what I say and believes in the One who sent Me has eternal life.” - John 5:24

"How do I get to heaven?"

As cliche as it sounds, it makes sense knowing that death may come anytime.

Three steps to be eternally saved and to be with God in heaven:

Admit.

Human as we are, we are not perfect. We commit mistakes over and over again. The Bible reminds us that we, by nature, are sinners. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.”

“As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one.” - Romans 3:10

Be Aware and Believe.

Know the penalty of sin. Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose again for our salvation.

Romans 6:23 confirms, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Repent and Receive.

(This is personal.  One has to do this heartfelt.  If you are reading, this is for you.)

Pray & repent of any sin. Accept Jesus Christ in your heart as your personal Saviour and Lord.

For it is written in John 1:12, “Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.”

Romans 10:9, “If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Invite God to come into your heart and life as your Lord and Saviour. Now is the day of your salvation.

Friend, once saved, always saved.

Pray this prayer from your heart:

Dear Jesus,

I am a sinner in need of a Saviour.  Forgive me for all the sins that I commited.  I repent of them all. Come into my heart Lord Jesus. I accept You as the Lord and Saviour of my life. I commit my life to you. Be in full control of it. Thank you Lord.

This I pray, in Your Name Lord Jesus, Amen!

Surreal Love

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. - John 15:3

Surreal love. Yes it exists even in this crooked world.

A love that doesn't falter when you've done something offensive and unforgivable.

A love that lasts up to the ages.

A love that understands and is unconditional.

A love that never leaves nor forsakes.

A love so merciful and true.

A love so powerful and unfathomable.

A love wanting to be felt by you. IS ALL FOUND IN GOD. The love of God exists for you. And it is the only love you'll ever need.

Yes, we may not be worthy of God's love nor will we ever be, but He loved us anyway. And it's not because of who you are or what you've done, He's just simply a loving God. He loves you — not just people as a whole, but you as a person. He cares about your life and wants to be part of it. He wants you to feel His great love for you.

God proved His love for you by sending His ONLY SON to live a blameless life on earth on your behalf. He humbled himself and willingly took your sins on the cross with nail pierced hands. Jesus suffered without complaint. He was persecuted, beaten and mocked yet He endured all of it for you. He was despised and rejected by men, so that you may have everlasting life with Him.

A God so mighty and powerful came to this earth for you. He wasn't thinking of His reputation when He came here, He was thinking of you. And even when He was on the cross, He wasn't thinking of the pain. He thought of you saying, You are worth it.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is the measure of our Father's love.

Great is the measure of our Father's love."

You are His chosen child. God is your Father. You are not reading this out of coincidence, Your Heavenly Father is reaching out to you. He wants you to trust and hope in His love. And He wants to have a personal relationship with you. He wants you to call out His name and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour so that you may experience the fullness of His great love. Take heart knowing that you have all the love that you'll ever need❤

What shall we say then? if God did not spare His precious son but gave Jesus up for you, how will He not also graciously give you all things?

John 3:16
Romans 8:32
Isaiah 53

You are Valuable

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” - Philippians 4:6.

Worried about not having a job at a time of crisis? You don’t have to because the Bible tells us in our verse today that we should not be anxious about anything.

The Lord is the God who provides. Your worries are now answered in God's mysterious and amazing ways.

It is written in Matthew 6:26, “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"

Always remember that even when everything is uncertain, there is a God who is certain. Put God first and you will never be the last.

You might have lost your job, but, it is never the end of your journey. Keep on going because you have a God who owns everything.  He can give you back, even double what you lost.

Breakthroughs are coming your way! Claim it. God bless.

To See the Unseen

"Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things..." Col. 3:2

What is your focus on life? Is it on money? Is it on your career? Is it on your relationships? Are you focused on things that can be seen?

Our verse for today reminds us to set our goals on the things in heaven and not on those that are on earth.

Our focus then should be on what is unseen...

We believe in the air we breathe. We believe in dreams we keep on chasing. We believe in tomorrow. We believe in all other things, but, do we believe in God Almighty?

Ephesians 1:18 says, “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.”

May the Lord our God open the eyes of your heart, that you may see those that are unseen for what is unseen is eternal, full of riches in Christ Jesus our Lord.

May the Lord grant your heart's desire.  God bless.
