Sin No More!

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness”. - 1 John 1:9

We, the people of God who are not of this world can testify how merciful our God is. God is the god of forgiveness.  He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. No matter how small or big it is, He forgives if we confess our sins wholeheartedly and will repent.  God listens and forgives us in any circumstances.

But, take note that even if God is so faithful to us, He will never tolerate any sins to prosper. He will teach us or rebuke us for us to learn from our mistakes. He is also the God of Holiness and He never dwells on darkness.

Assuming you have a friend who most often did something wrong to you, he/she may lie to you for his/her own good and yet you always forgive him/her but suddenly you get tired of his/her lame excuses and invalid reasons. Would you still allow him/her to make the same mistakes? I bet you won’t. If we people can feel that way, how much more to our God who seeks peace and holiness to the world. Take these words I learnt from one of our Praise and Worship Leaders, “The person who understands forgiveness by God’s grace won’t continue in sin, but will grow more sensitive to the ways of the God who has freely pardoned him”.

Mark this day as you pray and confess your sins to Him. Repent and ask for forgiveness for all the things you have done that are unappealing. Open your heart and yourself to allow God to take you away from the world that is full of sins. Let Him pull you again towards Him. Offer your life to Him.

Turn to Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who knows and understands us better than ourselves.

Turn to Jesus, our only God who has seen all of our sins yet has loved us the same.

Turn to Jesus, our hope who will always help us get back on our feet.

You have to decide to follow Jesus;

No turning back,

No turning back.

Just A Little Light

 Oh, what an amazing night.

As I look up the sky, I am enthralled at such beauty.

How lovely is the moonlight?

In my heart I truly see.

Lord, hear me speak with head bowed down as I offer to You this prayer tonight:

Your word says in Matthew 5:14-16, that you are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven”.

Mold me, oh God and fill my heart with Your holiness.

Use me as your light that shines more brightly as your holy spirit lives within me.

Let me live in your presence as I continue to glorify and worship Your Name.

Like the moon that brightens the night, may I be an encouragement to people losing hope.

Let my intentions be pure with no hidden judgments or wrongful motives.

I ask from You for You are my source of everything.

Like a lighthouse that gives direction to sailing ships at night, may I be an instrument to guide the lost back to Your arms and to remind those who are on the verge of giving-up to hold on.

Like a car’s headlight, may I be a driving force that motivates others to move forward and follow only the path that leads to You, a road that is clear and free from sin.

Like a fireplace that warms the house, may I comfort those who are experiencing grief, sorrow and difficulty.

A little light is all I ask from You, Father God.  A little light that comes from You.

Somewhere tonight, people are in pain, fighting a silent battle.

Someone may be at the brink of giving up, losing hope.

Someone, somewhere needs that little ray of light.

The light that will not be hidden but will shine brightly before others.  The light though little yet continues to dazzle because of You. Lord, let me be that light. Today, tomorrow, and forevermore.

Amen.

He Is The Source Of Refuge

“The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms…”  Deuteronomy 33:27

            Years passed

From generation to generation, things change.

In this era, we find it as the time of sorrows, pains, crimes, crisis, and unappealing deeds whether man made or natural ones.

Little by little, we are scared of what’s going to happen next. It feels so unsafe, right?

The bible verse for today awakens us to keep striving and going because the Lord our God is our refuge.  He sees everything that is going on around us.  We have no idea what is going to happen next. It seems like a mystery box to which you are too curious about what's inside of it.

Certainly, there’s uncertainty on your end. I am here to tell you that you don’t have to feel that way or even experience it because in God, there’s an assurance of security and peace. You just have to discover Him and acknowledge Him as the Source of Refuge and a Dwelling place of Safety.

In this crooked world where harm, virus and violence is rampant, just be YOU!

You have to draw more closer to God.

Open your heart and soul for Him.

Unite yourself with Him.

Through this way, you will find His everlasting arms of strength, support, safety and protection against all harms or anything which hinder your life into something dreary.

Just “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness…” - Matthew 6:33

All is well by God’s grace.

God bless you.
