“…until Your people cross over, Lord, until the people You have
purchased cross over.” Exodus 15:16 (One New Man Bible)
Is your past haunting you? Are you being held by something from
the past? Do you feel that it is time to move forward yet right in front of you
is a vast ocean of fear? Fear of the unknown, fear of drowning in the
uncertainties of life, fear of not being able to make it, and the list of fear
goes on.
The Israelites felt the same when they were at the shore of the
Red Sea with the Egyptians marching toward them. They thought they have nowhere
to go because in front of them was the Red Sea.
But, it’s time to cross over. See the hand of God open the sea
so you can walk on dry ground. Exodus 14:22 says “...the waters were a wall to
them on their right hand and on their left.” The Lord will turn your fears into
walls they will not touch you or even come near you. Have faith in God for He
will fight your battles for you. You need only to be still and see His mighty
hand at work. You have been redeemed and purchased by the Lord and He is saying,
cross over. Do not look back on the past. You have been set free from the yoke
of slavery, there is no turning back.
Victory awaits you today! Do not let fear get in the way!
