God Overcomes The World!

“For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.” - 1 John 5:4

A praise and worship leader of a Christian church asked questions to the congregation, “Are we all victorious in this world?”, “Do you believe that you are victorious each day because of Jesus Christ?”

In those tough moments of your life where adversities really hit you badly, do you complain to God, and doubt His plans for you?” “

What was your reaction to those challenges? Do you ask God for help?”

Children of God actually asked Him for help, strength and guidance. You only have to align yourself to God’s plan for you.  Do not redirect it because God puts you in that situation for He knows that you can win that battle through Him. God has overcome the world and has defeated Satan, the enemy.

God has conquered all your troubles in the past, present, and the future.  He already planned everything, so you are assured that you will win!

The verse for today reminds you that no matter what circumstance you face in this world, you can strongly and firmly S.T.A.N.D with it:

S urrender all your worries to God.

T otally be equipped by His armors.

A ble to fight through His strength.

N o one can defeat you because you have Him.

D istractions from the enemy will eventually be no more!

If God has overcome the world, then you can, too because you are His child. He keeps and secures you from any harm of this world. God is able and can conquer everything for His children.

Rejoice for you are victorious by God’s grace.

God’s Love: Beyond Measure

"I will rejoice and be glad in Your steadfast love, because You have seen my affliction; You have known the distress of my soul." - Psalm 31:7

Oh God,

My Lord,

You have been so good to me,

You set me free,

I don’t know why,

But, I won’t lie,

Your love is real,

Which every day I feel,

Not anything in this world is above,

But only your unconditional love,

That I always ask,

Which I do pray and fast,

Roads of uncertainties,

Big stones of adversities,

Sudden catastrophes,

That cause wearies,

Yet, You are watching me,

Guiding me,

Reminding me,

That You truly love me,

Today,

Tomorrow,

Forevermore,

I will embrace that love,

A love that transcends everything,

A love that is always there,

A love that is real - only Your love,

An unfathomable love from You alone.

God Had To Break You

As you live in this world, there are trials, challenges and obstacles that you have to win and surpass, but there are also times that you may stumble which causes you to fall down. There are times when you feel as though you are crushed to pieces. It is painful.  It is exhausting.

Sometimes God allows these things to happen because He had to break you…

For you to learn.

For you to fight.

For you to grow.

For you to become stronger.

For you to stop relying on yourself.

For you to depend more on Him.

When the breaking happens, you might not notice that God takes away some of the broken pieces that were not part of His will for you. Then He starts to build you up and make you whole again.  Moment by moment, He is able to protect you from rushing to a situation that may cause you pain, weariness and unhappiness.

When you feel like you are crushed and broken, seek God and allow Him to break you into smaller pieces from every failure and shortcomings you have done because He is trying to build a new self for you because For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.” - Romans 8:13-14.

In Him alone, blessings are coming!

Learn To Wait

“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” - Psalm 27:14

Indeed, life requires a lot of waiting. Everyone is in the season of waiting.

No one is exempted! It’s just one of those unenjoyable life truths, to wait for:

-        Financial Breakthrough.

-        Miracle/Healing.

-        Child/Children (to those married couples who are not yet been blessed with).

-        God-given spouse.

-        Prayers to be answered.

-        Promotion and Success.

-        Fulfillment of one’s dream.

Those are only a few things which people are longing to have. But in the Bible, there are also characters who waited for the Lord’s perfect timing.

-        David definitely waited 15 years to be a king.

-        Rebekah also waited 20 years to give birth to Jacob and Esau.

-        While Moses waited 40 years to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.

-        Then, Sarah waited 25 years longer for her appointed child, Isaac.

Take heart and always wait for the Lord because you are not alone in your waiting season.

In Psalm 33:20, it says, “We wait in hope for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.” So if you are praying for something to happen in your life for so long that you feel like giving up, just stop and pray again to God.

Truly, none of us know His timing or why it seems to take so much longer than we’d like it to happen.  It is not according to our plans anymore. But, be reminded also that the truth is, He is faithful. Waiting may be extremely difficult sometimes and has a painful process, but God’s plans will prevail and He will surely fulfill His promises. Oftentimes, we are so quick in deciding and figuring things out but trusting Him will help us pursue, persevere and wait a little bit longer knowing that in God, hope is real. He is a prayer answering God!

One day, you’ll see why God made you wait…
